At Mind the Gap Harlem, every day is a fresh and exciting adventure designed to keep kids engaged, active, and inspired.
While we don’t follow a rigid itinerary, our days are thoughtfully planned to balance movement, creativity, mindfulness, and exploration. Here’s what a typical day might look like:
Morning: Start with a mindful welcome and energizing group activity to set a positive tone for the day.

Mid-Morning: Dive into a hands-on workshop or activity—this could be theater, a creative art project, or a science experiment with our dedicated teacher.

Midday: Lunch and outdoor play, whether at a local park, playground, or a pool day (weather permitting).

Afternoon: Continue the adventure with field trips, group games, or cultural explorations that celebrate NYC’s diversity and creativity.

Late Afternoon: Wind down with reflective discussions, storytelling, or quiet creative time to process the day’s experiences.

Each day offers a unique mix of activities—ranging from Taekwondo to theatrical performance, cultural field trips, and water play—ensuring campers have a dynamic, enriching, and fun-filled summer. Rest assured, no two days are the same, but every day is packed with opportunities to grow, learn, and make lifelong memories.
